Today we visit Barcelona to get to know the best neighbourhoods in which to live. Do you want to come with us?

Maybe it’s the streets full of history, the Gothic architecture, the smell of the sea, the broad avenues, the squares or the people. We don’t know why it is but what we do know is that once you discover Barcelona you won’t want to leave.

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and is divided into 10 districts each with its own unique history, from the settlement of the ancient Roman empire to Gaudí’s Gothic touches.

Within the city there are residential neighbourhoods to suit all tastes. People who want to live near the sea will find that Barcelona is the place for them, as will those who want to lose themselves in the old town centre or among its modern and most recent buildings.

La Sagrada Familia

This neighbourhood, that bears the name of the city’s most famous monument, renown throughout the world, is a peaceful residential area that includes the typical l’Eixample district, where daily life rubs shoulders with the tourists.

In addition to la Sagrada Familia cathedral, the area includes several modernist monuments such as the Sant Pau hospital, leisure amenities and a host of green spaces for relaxing, walking the dog or playing sport.

Here you will find our property in Roselló: a building with fifteen 2 and 3 bedroom properties that are over 100 m2 in size. The flats have parquet flooring, fitted wardrobes and cupboards, and bathrooms and kitchens equipped with premium brand household appliances.  In addition, the building has a video surveillance system to ensure the maximum security of its inhabitants.

Navas

The Navas neighbourhood is the newest of the Sant Andreu district, extends on both sides of the Meridiana avenue and has the Ferrán Reyes square at its heart. It is one of the friendliest and newest areas of this district and has over 22,000 inhabitants.

Its characteristic buildings are large blocks of flats and low-rise homes with gardens. Among its lively streets are located our properties in Trinxant, large 3 and 4 bedroom flats ideal for families.

The homes offer endless possibilities for personalisation as regards decoration, thanks to their large rooms and lay-out, and are located very near the Guinardó natural park, forming part of an area with excellent connections to the whole city.

Provençals del Poble Nou

La Gran Vía de las Cortes Catalanas marks the beginning of this neighbourhood located in the Sant Martí district. Here you will find our properties in Bac de Roda, large homes located in a very popular area of Barcelona.

Its leisure areas, fully established shops and many education and health amenities make this neighbourhood one of the most popular options for living.

Its cemetery is without doubt one of its main attractions. It is the biggest in the city and has large monuments and sculptures. By contrast, there are the large urban thoroughfares that criss-cross this area, providing it with a good structure and connections.

Plaza de Europa

Located at the Gran Vía crossroads in the la Marina area of L’ Hospitalet de Llobregat, Plaza de Europa is a metropolitan area designed to become one of Barcelona’s economic drivers.

In this nerve centre of the city we find a modern, 19-storey tower block in which our rental properties are located. These are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes with large rooms, fully equipped bathrooms and kitchens and parking space.

Located next to la Fira de Barcelona, this is one of the best connected areas of the city both for private vehicles and public transport.

Sant Antoni

Now we are going to la Plaza España, another key location in the Catalan capital.

A neighbourhood with its own unique personality, a commercial tradition that it has maintained and with a treasure hidden among its streets: our development in Sepúlveda.

Two-bedroom studio flats and homes, ideal for those who have just left home and want to live alone or as a couple. The residential development has various communal areas, including a swimming pool. Who wouldn’t like to take a dip while living in the very centre of town?

Sant Antoni is located in the l’Eixample district, in the very heart of Barcelona, surrounded on all sides by iconic and characteristic sites.

Shops, services, restaurants and good connections. This neighbourhood has it all!

Among its large avenues, in its new neighbourhoods, in its history-soaked corners, next to the sea or in the outskirts… whichever area you choose we are sure you will love to live in Barcelona.

Remember we have a large range of properties for living in Barcelona, but we also have options for those who prefer to live in outlying towns such as Badalona, Hospitalet de Llobregat and many more.
