What do you consider more important when looking for a home to rent, the features of the property itself or those of the neighbourhood? If you see them as equally important, Testa Residencial is the partner you need in your search.
As well as offering the best value for money our rental flats have unbeatable features. Also, many belong to developments located in neighbourhoods with the best transport connections and services in various cities throughout Spain.
This post is the first of a series introducing you not only to our stand-out developments but also to everything the neighbourhoods in which they are located can offer you.
We start with the capital city, Madrid, and the neighbourhood of Conde de Orgaz. This area is, without doubt, one of the best connected neighbourhoods in Madrid, and also offers a wide range of services and leisure options.
Conde de Orgaz provides the opportunity to live in a residential area without having to leave the city. Gated residential communities and villas surrounded by large green spaces populate this neighbourhood which has excellent connections to the city centre and periphery. With fast access to the M-40, M-30 and M-11 ring roads, it is a good area to live if you get around by car. It is also very well connected by public transport: line 4 of the Madrid Metro (the Arturo Soria and Esperanza stations) and the 120, 122 and 70 municipal bus routes are some of the best ways of getting around on public transport. If you fly a lot, the connection to Madrid-Barajas airport is also very good.
But, as mentioned above, this neighbourhood is not just surrounded by asphalt. It also contains parks and gardens in which to walk, enjoy the fresh air and get away from the stress of the big city. There is the Juan Carlos I park, established on a site containing over 20 hectares of centennial olive trees, in addition to a lake and waterway. This is a perfect place in which to walk or exercise, admire nearly a score of sculptures and enjoy magical spots such as the Las Tres Culturas garden or the Estufa Fría, a hothouse with a collection of tropical plants.
Another option surrounded by Nature is the El Capricho park, where renowned artists have designed pavilions, laid out paths and channelled waterways to give visitors an experience in which Nature takes centre stage. This park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and is the perfect place in which to see a large number of different kinds of bird and to watch the antics of the numerous squirrels.
If, in addition to Nature, you are also passionate about sport, Conde de Orgaz offers the opportunity to enjoy swimming, rugby, football, ice-skating, paddle tennis, tennis and golf. There are a wide range of teams and clubs you can join.
This area also offers residents several shopping and leisure centres including the El Corte Inglés de Campo de las Naciones department store and the Palacio de Hielo, Gran Vía de Hortaleza and Arturo Soria Plaza shopping centres. All of these are excellent options for going shopping and enjoying their leisure and food areas.
Also, if you work in the Campo de las Naciones area, a business district where many companies and multinationals have their head or regional offices, you will be a stone’s throw from the office. Campo de las Naciones also contains IFEMA, a major trade fair centre, offering the chance to attend trade fairs, conventions and exhibitions without the need to travel a long distance.
And if the family grows, finding a school for the little one won’t be a problem. The Conde de Orgaz neighbourhood has several schools close to home. These include the Colegio Montessori, the Colegio Nuestra Señora de Santa María or the renowned Liceo Francés, among others.
Like the sound of it? If you are considering moving to Conde de Orgaz and are looking to rent a home, be sure to visit our developments in this area.
